Initiated and managed IV therapy, administered medications, calculated drug dosages and monitored patients for side effects. Drew labs, assessed injuries, changed dressings, managed a variety of feeding tubes, central lines, and implanted ports. Implemented plan of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care across settings. Learned and developed unique skills, specialties and practices based on site and patient needs. Educated patients and family members about preventive health care and recovery. Trained other nurses on patient care and daily tasks, supporting growth and professional development.
