Responsible for all fire department resources, apparatus, equipment, and department personnel. Responsible for all administrative tasks as well as preparing, presenting, and overseeing the annual budget. The Fire Chief is also responsible for the operational tasks of the department. The Fire Chief shall be the official spokesperson to the public on emergency matters. Delegate duties to their subordinates as the need arises. Appoints all department officers. Mange a team of 30 members, while reporting to a Board of Commissioners.
