Works closely and in conjunction with the offices of Information Technology (IT) and Engineering to ensure that all technical aspects and systems are always up and functional.
3. Keep up-to-date with the current and constantly evolving technologies and innovations with APARC Systems and the parking industry.
4. Manages and administers processes, procedures, and functions related to pay-on-foot parking collection devices, enforcement of long-term parking rules, parking fare media, parking validation systems, parking gate overrides, ticket and car fraud analysis, BAMS settlement, and charge-back functions of parking operations.
5. Manages the maintenance oversight of parking equipment for the Authority.
6. Manages, plans, and controls parking administration by overseeing the reconciliation of all parking revenue processing systems, monitoring and preventing fraudulent activities, and controlling system access. Manages activities that include identifying, preventing, investigating, resolving, and reporting discrepancies, unusual occurrences, and variances.
7. Actively participates in transit costs and revenue research programs and model development projects to provide tools for financial assessment, financial planning modeling, revenue research programs, and model development projects to provide tools for the financial evaluation, financial planning, modeling, revenue strategies, and fare policy in support of management decision-making.
8. Manages and oversees the administration of all contracts, including service contracts and maintenance, equipment, and supplies for parking services.

10. Plans, maintains, and manages the Parking Services annual budget, the APARC System program for future growth and development at other MARTA locations, and the overall success of MARTA’s long-term paid parking program.
