Started to work with several multidisciplinary groups, working mainly in liver, both for oncology and transplantation purposes; and in lung oncology in 3 hospitals of the national social security system.
I was able to generate the first dedicated spaces in the angiography rooms and in the CT scans to schedule interventional radiology procedures. These programs are now well stablish with an important and constant flow of patients.
These efforts modified the initial scenario radically. There is now a growing awareness about interventionism, both in other specialist and in the radiology community.
