I'm working for my friend's start-up brand Drip Vision as a co-leader in the organization. Drip Vision is a newly-started brand that sells street-wears. As the co-leader, I participated in planning and involving in the promoting events in the local community.
In my senior year of high school, I was honored to be a member in the campaign group of Dr.Andre Gao as he is electing for the Board of Education in Howard County District 3. As a campaign intern, I've accomplished several contributions. I went out to canvassing every single weekend, and also attend Howard county education system media days and other events with my candidate. When I was in the campaign group, I was also in charging the daily posts and comments on Dr.Gao's social medias such as X(Twitter) and Facebook.
In the summer before I attend college, I worked at an international law firm in Beijing, China. I was a paralegal intern, and I was able to get involved in a few of the cases. During my internship, I was mainly in charge of amending the first drafts of contracts for some of the clients as well as translating contracts and other company documents from Chinese to English.
Project Make Waves aims to provide sports equipments such as running and athletic shoes for student athletes in our local community who is in need. Our goal was to provide the equipments directly to student atheists in our community as well as in certain 3rd world counties through found-raising events. As an assistant coordinator, I led and participated in found-raising events and presentations in local high school.
Columbia & Liyang Sister City Committee is an international organization supported by the Maryland State Government. Columbia, the city in Howard County, Maryland, was bonded to be the sister city of Liyang, a city in Jiangsu Province, China. I was working as the secretary in the organization, which my job was to take notes and partially be a translator during meetings. During my internship, I have also promoted several events that fosters the communication between people in Liyang to the local community in Maryland.
