  • Duties performed entail, PV module/ Inverter/optimizer/RSD and microinverter troubleshooting or replacement, Restring rooftop homerun DC wires, breaker swaps, conduit/EMT re-run, rewire electrical and replace/troubleshoot home backup batteries.
  • Electrical troubleshooting on rooftop/ground level/main service panel and in home if need be.

  • As an Inspections Technician, I labeled all solar equipment, painted conduit/EMT to color match home, follow and ensure installed solar equipment matched the designed single line plan set to verify NEC nfpa70 code standard is met for City Inspection.
  • Additional duties entail, perform main service panel derates/uprates, install Rapid Shutdown Disconnects, Combiner Panels and Ground Rods for the system and home to be properly grounded in accordance with the NEC.
  • As an Installer, I worked in a four-person team element to install rooftop photovoltaic DC systems, together we drew out the required roof plan, installed foot stands/railing/junction boxes/PV modules and ran both EMT/ THHN wire down to the ground level solar equipment.
