Additional Information

The automotive shop I worked at was independently owned and had around 9-10 employees at any given time. The other mechanics I worked with had been there for 30+ years each. I started there as a mechanic and worked on nearly every brand of car manufacturer. Around 2015-2016, the owner was ready to retire and handed the business off to his daughter. This is where I stepped into my role as General Manager as she was in need of someone that knew the business, its customers, and the overall day to day operations. I basically did everything except pay the bills and taxes. I managed employees, hired, fired, trained, wrote work orders, made estimates, sold those estimates, customer service, customer relations, scheduling appointments, opened, closed, vendor relations, managed offsite work, delegated work loads, managed shop cleanliness, groundskeeping, bookkeeping, payroll, and so on. Anything that has to do with running the business, I had a role in. I also still had a role in helping to diagnose and repair customers vehicles, when I was available to do so.

The business has since been sold and has a new owner that started in January of 2022, which is when I decided it was time for me to look for other opportunities.

I am a simple, down to earth kind of person, and I'm just looking for a place to settle down and shine. I have great respect for chain of command and procedures. After being in a managerial role, I know what it takes and the stresses that come along with it. If I am to be hired, you would be getting a good employee, that I can promise. Thank you for your time in reading this.

Best regards,

Bryan
