One of two full time paramedics that oversee a per diem staff of 30+ paramedics. The fire district operates a 24/7, dual paramedic 911 service to the community. Tasked with QA/QI, SOP and SOG creation and implementation, ensuring proper documentation, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local statutes and participating in direct patient care.

Hired to create a paid program consisting of first response paramedics. Collaboratively implemented systems of accountability, designed a first response vehicle and outfitted it with proper equipment, ensured compliance with all applicable statutes, created response procedures, provided direct patient care and completed other administrative duties. In my supervisory role I deal with scheduling, personnel matters, human resource management, regulatory bodies, controlled substance management, licensing and other administrative tasks delegated to me by the Board of Fire Commissioners. 

Per diem paramedic for the Floral Park and Garden City communities. Tasked with providing high quality patient care and all other applicable duties expected of a certified paramedic.

Hired, part time, to assist the EMS coordinator in her duties. My role includes, but is not limited to, implementing systems of accountability, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, preparing documents regarding ambulance service certification, ensuring proper stock, direct patient care and equipment is available and communicating with district and volunteer staff.

One of eight paramedics hired to create a professional paramedic program. Over the course of my employment I was tasked with administrative duties such as creating and implementing a QA/QI program, a controlled substance plan, in-service training, completing NYS and local compliance paperwork, communicating with staff, scheduling, collaborating with City of Long Beach management, union officials, hospital staff, and the agency medical director and participating in direct patient care.
