- Manage raw material and chemical quality assurance, including testing, documentation, and specification verification
- Analyze and interpret inbound chemical data and test results to support real-time manufacturing operations
- Direct fragrance lot management by determining product allocation, overseeing SKU testing and assigning wick tests for optimal burn performance
- Conduct Rate of Consumption (ROC) testing for all wax production lots, ensuring consistency across batches
- Coordinate dye lot sampling and color comparison against standards, ensuring color quality in final production
- Facilitate materials from the Material Review Board (MRB), ensuring only approved raw materials are available for manufacturing
- Oversee finished good safety compliance by conducting Safety Burn Tests on retains from each batch of candles prior to release and determine additional burn analysis as needed
- Partner with vendors and internal teams to address non-conformance and compliance issues
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for product development and manufacturing processes
- Provide training to employees on raw material specifications and proper testing protocols
- Manage departmental SOP reviews, updates, and revisions to ensure compliance and process accuracy
- Adhere to customer requirements as directed to ensure customer-directed compliance and passing hundreds of external product safety andm performance tests
