Operated all aspects of a small, local asphalt construction business for the last 10+ years. Wanted to make a career change in 2023. Worked for the Nevada Division of Forestry on the Marlette Peak hand crew during the 2023 Spring/Summer fire season. Was hired full-time in December 2023 and gained valuable experience in controlled burns and pile burning during the winter months. Gained experience running many different tools (pulaski, shovel, scrapers) and power tools (chainsaws, concrete saws, jackhammer) along with fire experience. Also, gained experience working with hoses and pumps. Recently resigned from NDF to gain experience in EMS with REMSA as an AEMT. Hardworking and passionate job seeker with strong organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities eager to secure a firefighter position.
