Automation Consultant Manager for Americas Professional Services

• Lead the AMER and Federal Professional Services Automation Team of seven Automation Consultants.
• Network with strategic AMER and Fed teams to drive custom automation solutions and leverage/integrate Juniper Paragon.
• Consult with high profile customers on Core Network, Data Center Network and Network Security integration/automation.

Engineering System Test and Software Engineering environment supporting the quality of JUNOS on all T, PTX and MX series Juniper routers.

• Lead Software Engineer team of 3 developers for python based test automation tooling developed for Juniper Networks Test Engineering.
• Developed in-house tooling in perl and python for shareable tools and resources to assist in quality and testing throughout the test and software community.
• Design and build extensive customer focused labs to include: Hardware, Topology and automation integration with the Juniper routers and external testers.
• Work with multiple technologies/features: OSPF,IS-IS, Segment Routing, BGP, MPLS - RSVP-TE and LDP, Multicast/PIM, QoS/CoS, and P2MP.
• Leveraged test automation using: perl, python, linux, and Ixia testers.

• On-site support of a high profile customer with new design, test and technologies as related to all Juniper M/T/MX series backbone MPLS network.
• Hands on experience with: Juniper M320 / T640 / T1600 / MX960 routers and EX8208 switches.
• Develop best practices and config standards.
• Advocate for the on-site customer and Juniper Networks.
• Setup, design and configure: OSPF, BGP, MPLS - RSVP-TE and LDP, Multicast/PIM, QoS/CoS.
• Focus heavily on MPLS related technologies such as: NG-mVPN, P2MP LSP's, FRR.
• Conduct projects and performance testing per the customer's request, such as JUNOS code qualification, various load testing and failover test..
• Give presentations to the customers Design Engineering and Ops Engineering on design and test results.

• Planned, designed, configured and maintained national MPLS based network.
• Designed and setup: ISIS, BGP, MPLS - RSVP and LDP.
• Designed and configured layer 3 MPLS/VPN's and BGP for customer enterprise networks.
• Designed a QoS/CoS configuration that was successfully sold as a product enhancement.
