Received NJ PTC training and graduated from the Bergen County Police Academy (Class 87), in 2001. Served as a patrol officer and was responsible for handling calls for service, enforcement of local laws/ordinances, traffic enforcement, medical emergencies, and dealing with the general public on a daily basis. I began with the Patrol Division, where I worked directly under the supervision of a Patrol Sergeant and was consistently a highly productive officer with my career progressing as follows:

• Patrol Division 2001-2019
• Traffic Bureau 2019-2022
• Patrol Division Supervisor 2022-2024

In 2019 I was elevated to run the departments traffic bureau, where I answered to the Captain of the Department with limited supervision. Responsibilities for that job title included, but was not limited to:

• Daily meetings with the borough administrator, engineer, governing body, or residents
• Preparing and executing a yearly budget
• Planning the logistics for all municipal construction projects
• Direct liaison to the NJSP for the alcohol breath test unit
• Assisting patrol with specialized enforcement
• Prepared reports and testified before the Local Zoning Board
• Custodian of records for DUI arrests, crash reports, and all other statistical data needed for grants or enforcement reports.

In 2022 I was promoted to the rank of Patrol Sergeant and supervised up to five patrol officers. I served in this capacity until I retired in 2024 in good standing after 27 years of service to the borough.
