Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the team's daily and weekly activities so they are on track to hit monthly completion targets.
  • Ensure the recruiting team follows up on prospective students and enrolled students for interest and attendance as well as achievement of satisfactory progress standards.
  • Ensure the recruiting team outlines and explains the training program(s) to prospective students while upholding The CDL School and State regulations. For certified programs, students should be eligible for pre-hire and qualify for employment within the industry. Students who do not meet these requirements may apply to the school for a waiver.
  • Ensure all team members assist students with problems in training, attendance, and scheduling from matriculation through graduation. The Manager will add support as
    necessary.
  • Report to the Vice President of Education @ Recruiting as well as Program Managers regarding daily activity sheets, problems, enrollment progress and any other forms of required reporting.
  • Ensure student enrollment documents (and all items associated) are collected, properly submitted as directed and compliant with internal policies and procedures.
  • Manage and supervisor team's compliance with outlined job duties and responsibilities according to the “Military Recruiter”, “Recruiting Coordinator”, and “Class Manager” job descriptions.
  • Veterans Affairs School Certifying Official and keeps the VA informed of enrollment status of veterans. Stays current on VA rules and benefits that affect veterans and transitioning service-members. Assists potential students with applying for their education benefits and maintains records in order to stay compliant with VA inspection guidelines.
