Set-up/ Operator/ Programmer

I got out of the automotive business so that I could focus solely on mechanics and felt like machining would give me some added benefits
Knowing how a product starts out from a block of material and transforms to a precision piece of equipment is not a step that most technicians take
My daily job duties would include setting up of mills and tooling
Installing or writing programs for the manufacturing of customer parts and the fixtures used in the manufacturing process
Perform quality control and inspection of first article parts and maintain tolerances throughout part production
Was lead in the special projects division, working in conjunction with the research facility at Clemson University
(One project I especially enjoyed was a bladeless Helicopter model made from a Magnesium frame.)

Military and their Hum-V armor division and Blast Plates
That was a project I felt a personal connection to because I knew these parts were designed to save lives

My next line of action would be to generate a repair order based on the customer's request and vehicle history report, the repairs agreed upon and authorized by the customer
If needed alternate transportation will be provided through shuttle or rental car
The repair order is then dispatched to the appropriate technician for the job any additional repairs found would then have to be estimated and approved by the customer
A fully detailed description would be provided for the customer at time of pick-up or delivery, then the customer would be personally escorted to the cashier for payment of services rendered
The customer would then be taken to their car and made sure that they were completely satisfied and reminded of any future needs or surveys they may be receiving
