I served as the NCOIC (Supervisor) for the 1st Sustainment Brigade Referral Team at Camp Arifjan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (Spartan Shield) warehouse operations at Camp Taji, Iraq.
I coordinated and ensured that over 300 million dollars of serviceable materials were successfully delivered to mission support units in four areas of responsibility engaged in counter insurgency, peace keeping and combat support missions.
I also maintained 100% accountability of all equipment valued in excess of $350,000.00.
I performed and supervised daily checks at the Central Receiving Shipping Point for cargo marked for the warehouse (W56QXM).
I coordinated and segregated cargo; generated all shipping documents necessary to ensure all CL IX materials were sent to the forward warehouse.
I also performed over 55 missions at Ali Al-Salem airbase in order to prepare and send CL IX aviation aircraft on ground cargo totaling over 100 million dollars, ensuring combat aviation assets remained mission ready.
I demonstrated exemplary dedication to duty during all missions while assigned as NCOIC for the 1st Sustainment Brigade Referral Team.

On occasion, briefed members of HQDA G4, ARCENT, 1TSC and AMC on issue relating to the responsible draw down of the Combined Joint Operations Area – Afghanistan (CJOA-A)
I served as a Material Redistribution Yard Team NCO (Supervisor), leading four Soldiers and five civilians in the sorting, processing, redistribution and retrograde of material and supplies from Bagram Airfield Material Redistribution Yard in support of two separate Brigade Task Forces; Task Force Longknife and Bastogne.
My efforts and initiative resulted in over 900 Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units (TEU) received, disposed of and shipped to Bagram Airfield's RSY for disposition back into the supply system.
My ability to adjust to various mission changes to the CENTCOM Material Recovery Element (CMRE) served vital in the elimination of over 1,800 back logged non-essential retrograde containers in the Bagram RSY (Retro Sorting Yard).
My efforts were vital in the reconfiguration of the Material Redistribution Yard into a fully operational Retrograde Sorting Yard which enabled a 100% increase of velocity output of excess retrograde material.
