Detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in physics and data analysis. Proven ability to program scripts for complex data sets and conduct quantitative research, enhancing understanding of astrophysical phenomena. Committed to leveraging analytical skills for impactful contributions.
I was put in charge of 3 different introductory physics labs under the supervision of a faculty member. I had to teach and review the material taught in lecture for introductory electromagnetism, then lead the lab for the class which included but is not limited to handling materials, showing a demonstration, answering questions. Also, including the in-class responsibilities, I was also in charge of grading all work submitted by students and handling interactions related to that.
Programmed a script to take Gaia data for known white dwarf stars and perform a Fourier transform on the light curve data and set a limit for detection frequencies to discover new pulsating white dwarfs with pulsation periods of less than 400 seconds.
