Work register, sell Magic The Gathering, Comic books, and other products in the store. Order, catalog, and inventory new product for the store. Run the social media pages as well as create promotional images for the in store televisions. Maintain up to date pricing on Magic The Gathering Cards.
Design and build eight sets a season. Follow and maintain budgets for and order all materials to make show run, including but not limited to props, building material, lighting, and sound budgets. Manage and work with volunteer carpenters, painters, stage managers and crew members. Step in on Stage Crew when volunteers had conflicts. Maintain pit Orchestra equipment, as well as all theatrical equipment in the theatre. Oversee maintainace and use schedule of work truck.
Design the two Summer Bath House Player Shows for the Summer while overseeing the Bath House Players and instructing them in construction, sound, and lighting design.
Tasked with designing and constructing all set, lighting, and sound designs for the Oldfather Theatre.
Planned lessons for as well as directed three shows over the summer for three different camp sessions. Two sessions with the Act One Players 5th-6th grade, and one with the Primetime Players 9th grade and older.
Instructed third grade students in acting, makeup design, and costuming in the absence of the regular instructor.
My main duties were to interact with the public and sell Magic the Gathering cards, board games, and comic books. I was also responsible for grading, pricing, and buying comic books and Magic the Gathering Cards. I counted register at opening and closing of shifts, as well as filled out deposit slips and spreadsheets for the sales day.
Assisted in the University Scene Shop, with primary duties of building and tearing down sets. Also performed other tasks assigned to me.
Loaded packing materials into light bulb packaging machine, ran packaged bulbs into shrink wrap machine, and put shrink wrapped lights into boxes
