  • As a Rig Manager I am responsible for looking after the safety and well being of 24 employees, ensuring and providing a safe and well-maintained work environment.
  • I report to my Field Superintendent daily, as well as providing multiple daily/drilling reports to the office.
  • I am responsible for ordering parts and maintaining the rig .
  • I work with the Operators on a daily basis and create a professional working relationship at a field level.
  • Familiar with multiple Top Drive Systems, Operated the Nov IDS (Integrated Drilling System) 350p-350 ton/Nov TDS-11-500ton/Tesco Top Drive 500 ton.
  • Familiar with Continental Emsco C-3 Type 2 draw works as well as Alta & Nov. Operated & maintained multiple styles & brands of Triplex- 1600hp-12" stroke Mud Pumps, some being, Rostel, Nov, Gardner Denver, BPMMP-BOMCO.
  • Vertical & horizontal drilling experience.
  • Worked with Shaffer/Townsend/Cameron Bop's.
  • Worked in various ranges of temperatures ranging from 120d/f to -50d/f.
  • Have had the pleasure of working for multiple Operators over the years, some being Hess, Hellis, Taqa, Triangle, ConocoPhillips, Oxy, Encana, Paramount, B.P., Elpaso, Great Western, Chevron, Alta, HG Energy, and currently CNX oil & gas in Pennsylvania
  • Experience with Pason & Amphion auto driller systems.
  • Very safety oriented, I believe that people can go home the same way they came to work.
