Was a college athlete at the Division 2 level, playing in the best conference in the country, the PSAC. As a freshman, I suffered a career-ending injury. Through tough and time-consuming rehab and work ethic on my own, I came back and played again the next time before suffering a slight fracture in my femur. I stepped away from school and baseball and joined the workforce. I learned what the real world was like, and most importantly, what hard work is. I had a fire in me to return to school, so I put myself into Pitts Health Care management program. My fire in baseball was also in me; I did everything I could and returned to the field after taking almost 2 years off.
