National Band Leadership Award

I was awarded the National Band Leadership Award by my director Eric Rath, who stated that my upbeat personality and willingness to go the extra mile contributes to the band becoming a better program. I work with younger students who are struggling with either music or marching, and I assure them that everyone starts out not knowing how or what to do in the band. He said that in addition to the other statements, showing up early, staying late, and being as encouraging as I could inspired him to give me the National Band Leadership award.
