Clinical & Therapeutic Skills:

• Implement Sensory Integration Therapy, Wilbarger Brushing Protocol, and emotional regulation strategies to support sensory challenges.

• Assist children in developing independent dressing, grooming, toileting, and utensil use through adaptive strategies.

• Proficient in Handwriting Without Tears and other interventions to improve legibility and motor planning.

• Experience with picky eating interventions, oral-motor exercises, and sensory-based feeding therapy to support children with feeding difficulties.

• Provide play-based therapy by incorporating interactive play, and child-led activities to improve participation and motivation.

• Knowledgeable in weighted vests, compression garments, sensory seating and adaptive utensils.

Patient & Family Engagement:

• Adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of children with diagnoses such as ASD, ADHD, SPD, Down syndrome, and CP.

• Provide HEPs, parent education and sensory diet recommendations for at-home progress.

• Work closely with OTs, PTs, SLPs to ensure comprehensive care.

Administrative & Documentation Skills:

• Proficient in Fusion Web Clinic for appointment scheduling and documentation.

• Maintain accurate SOAP notes, data tracking, and treatment plan updates.

• Served as a clinical supervisor for a Level 1 COTA student, providing guidance, mentorship, and hands-on learning opportunities. Facilitated skill development, assessed progress, and provided constructive feedback to support the student’s growth in clinical practice and professional development
