Started as a order selector. I selected cases driving a electric pallet jack. AS400 is the Software to communicate orders that need picked. There was a rate that must be maintained in order to secure employment. One box every three seconds is expectation. Boxes range from 3lbs to 70 lbs. I selected for 5 years then was promoted to forklift operator.as400 was also use to monitor accuracy/communication. I drove a stand up Raymond lift. Rate was 18 pallets per hour. In 2009 I was promoted to warehouse supervisor. Sygma has 3 different departments.. Dry,cooler,and freezer. responsibility was dry department. responsibilities were shipping and receiving, cycle counting,auditing,re-training, assigning work loads for the day, Mapping out the daily routes to ensure proper legal weight limits. Supervise the picking and loading of routes. Communicate with customers request via telephone and email. Assistant to the inventory Manager. in 2011 I accepted the role of forklift trainer.
