• Conducts risk assessments, developing and implementing security protocols, provided training and awareness programs for unit and state personnel
• Keeps informed and current on Asset Protection issues that could impact JFHQ and educates command and operational staff. These issues could include freight and inventory control initiatives and Security
• Using knowledge of the security industry, develops, publishes, and enforces unit-wide security policies and procedures to safeguard soldiers, staff and property due to theft, vandalism, or disaster. This will include the corporate security plan and program, audits, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Served as the State Security Manager where I monitored security clearances through the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), ensuring personnel meet clearance requirements and security standards
