• Chaired a global, cross functional team enhancing vendor oversight and creating a global framework
• As a result, several governmental regulatory agencies allowed Invesco to continue our internal efforts, abating millions of dollars in regulatory expenses as well as freeing up $300M in reserve capital
• Contributed to the Corporate Properties strategic review – gave back space, redesigned offices based on utilization, and terminated unused space leading to a $40M savings in the properties budget
• Spearheaded development of metrics and dashboards to provide critical information to senior leadership for travel spend, leading to a reduction in travel spend of 60% of budget (post COVID)
• Developed metrics for Event Manager workload, resolving the conflict between management’s expense tightening and team capacity
• Led to the hiring of four additional staff members on the team allowing support to more client-facing events, driving higher revenues
• Advised the Global Head of Corporate Services and other global team leads and led a team of four analysts guiding the department strategic direction in line with overall corporate strategy.

Headed a three-team department: Buyer/Purchase Order team, Vendor Relationship Management team, and researched, created, and established the Supplier Diversity team. Led teams of 3 managers and 7 indirect reports

• Cofounded the Invesco Veterans Network Business Resource Group – Initiative brought together more than 83 Veterans across North America and resulted in better awareness across the firm through Memorial Day, Remembrance Day, and Veterans Day events
• Delivered the Procurement portion of a major E-Business Suite system re-implementation, leading to corporate Purchase Order usage increase >400%

Part of the Process & Innovation Performance Operating Group, leveraged strong analytical skills, process improvement tools, and ability to quickly understand and impact an organization’s opportunities areas

• Initiated an improvement project to eliminate over $20 Million of product returns and disposals for government logistics department, assisted in identifying over $500M more in savings opportunities
• Conducted a kaizen event for a global shipping client, detailing measurements required to conduct major processes, building out a physical diagram allowing client to take steps to improve inefficient processes.

Recruited to run the Procurement Department as VP took medical sabbatical. Managed a team responsible for direct construction costs, contract negotiations, and budget compliance for a residential home builder

• Created $1.8 million in annual savings by negotiating agreements to increase quality and timeliness of construction, reduced direct costs by over $4200/house and increased rebates to over $500/house
• Reduced field variance purchase orders by over 10%; took variances away from individual builders and placed their issuance under one person who verified the need for each variance.

Hired into management program for a national residential homebuilder. Recognized for ability to quickly learn various aspects of the business, singled out to help fix broken processes.

• Facilitated the creation of construction schedule for 31 communities. Directly responsible for increased cycle time efficiency from 96 to 70 days over a six-month period.
• Regional functional expert for the construction scheduling, sales, and mortgage tracking program. Assisted multiple divisions setup and train on the system.
