Monitor Pool Areas: Constantly observe pool areas to ensure the safety of passengers and crew, watching for any unsafe behavior, potential hazards, or emergencies in and around the water.
Enforce Pool Rules: Uphold and enforce all pool rules and regulations, including restrictions on diving, running, alcohol consumption, or inappropriate behavior.
Respond to Emergencies: Be prepared to respond quickly and effectively in case of an emergency, including performing CPR, first aid, or water rescues as needed.
Conduct Safety Drills: Participate in regular safety drills, ensuring that you’re fully prepared for any evacuation or emergency situation that could arise during a voyage.
Maintain Pool Cleanliness: Ensure the pool area is clean, free of debris, and the water is safe for swimming. Regularly check water clarity, chemical levels, and cleanliness.
Check Water Quality: Conduct routine water quality tests to monitor pH levels, chlorine content, and overall water safety in compliance with maritime health and safety standards.
Customer Assistance: Assist passengers with questions or concerns related to the pool area, offering guidance on safety measures, equipment use, or other amenities.
Report Hazards: Identify and report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or maintenance needs to ensure continuous safety and operation.
Maintain Communication: Stay in constant communication with the ship's security and medical team, ensuring coordination in case of an emergency or potential risk to passenger safety.
Provide Education: Educate passengers, especially children, about pool safety rules and how to enjoy the water responsibly.
Patrolled and monitored premises in company vehicle, on bicycle, and by foot.
