I coordinate our hospital surgery schedule with our outside DRs who have privileges through CRMC. It my is my responsibility to do daily checks on each individual DR to make sure their privileges have not expired at our hospital. I am responsible for clearing out the secure surgery scheduling email box daily, checking out constantly throughout the day. I have to download, print and save all documents - orders, H&Ps, Sx authorizations, consent forms, insurance documentation, medical records (labs, DRs notes). I must also coordinate any open availability on the surgery schedule with any DR who is requesting those dates/times.
*Released electronic medical records (EMR),radiology actual imaging, pathology slides and blocks to patients, and outside providers for continuity of care.
*Released Pharmacy Billing records to members.
*Answered calls and responded to e-mails to client's questionnaires.
*Log in, process, and fulfill requests according to department's workflow policy and procedures.
*Processed payments through the different methods of payments, posted payments, and closed daily cash drawers.
*Review requests based on HIPAA law, and Kaiser Policy before releasing records.
*Ordered office supplies, and equipment through Kaiser OneLink e-procurement system. Kept track of inventories, corresponded with vendors for back orders, returns, and not delivered orders.
*Covid19: Assisting with running of the Scrub Distribution Center (SDC). Making sure employees who work in direct Covid19 areas have all the necessary PPE (masks, scrubs, gloves) to perform their job safely.
Review records then pull relevant documents for Veterans' claim(s). Scan documents into E-process software. Add notes to case. Confirm file and send for review. Productivity 75% over minimum requirement. Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records systems.
