We operated forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse efficiently while being monitored with a production scale. We loaded and unloaded shipments according to starting dates and time constraints. Some orders were labeled "Live loads" and were expected to be completed within a certain time frame. We relied on teamwork to finish orders sometimes due to the lack of equipment. We would also team up and record accurate inventory records during quarterly checks. We assisted in training new staff on equipment and safety procedures. I joined the Safety Committee for two years and we formed plans, strategies, and procedures in order to keep the crew safe. We gained experience in staging dock doors,picking products from shelves within the warehouse and utilizing racks as well as pyramiding floor product. Cleaned spills and debris in work areas immediately after incidents.

We loaded hopper equipment to efficiently feed materials into production lines. We had to keep lines full of the correct tampons and insertions so that the workers filling the boxes had the desired products. Filling in for them and assisting the line workers were part of our duties in order to optimize the material handling processes. Later I was in charge of operating various machines on the tampon line. There was the box machine that formed and glued the boxes for the tampons, along with the conveyor belts and the glue machine that sealed the boxes shut. We worked for a larger company(Kimberly Clark) as temp workers later I would move to the warehouse that stored most of these products from KC.

We mowed and tended to the parks and recreation facilities throughout the town, including filling potholes with asphalt and annual clean- up days. We also participated in community events to promote city services and initiatives. We performed a variety of physical labor tasks, including wellness checks.
