I shadowed the head Medical Assistant. I assisted with getting the patients ready for their appointment with the physician. I took vitals, gave injections, and drew blood. I conducted lab testing such as preparing blood samples, and urinalysis. I sanitized the patient rooms. I restocked supplies. I conducted patient interviews, and entered patient information into the EHR. I also conducted EKG's for patients during their physicals.

• I work with the elderly, from patients who need just a little help, all the way to having Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and who are completely bed ridden
• I am a physical, mental, social, and emotional support for the patients and their families
• I know how to transfer patients safely, by using the proper body mechanics
• I have Hoyer experience
• I make sure they take their medications
• I make sure they eat and drink like they should
• I take their vitals
• I make sure they get to doctors’ appointments
• I am always there for them with a listening ear, and I empathy towards them.

• I assisted with the monthly parent groups
• I made phone calls and answered phone calls
• I used the fax/copy/scanner machines frequently
• I thinned charts, organized charts, and maintained client records
• I used Microsoft Office
• I ran errands
• I shadowed Parent Educators while they went out on home visits
• I assisted the CEO, Trish O’Brien with various errands
• I assisted with fundraisers such as their Annual Duck Race, Thanksgiving basket handouts, and the winter coat distribution.
