As a superintendent at Ocean Park I ran the largest high rise high density house project in Alameda County. We built a 42 story, 600 unit building in downtown Oakland. I was responsible 65 plumbers and 15 pipe fitter on this project.
At UMI, I rose through the ranks from a list hire journeyman all the way up to superintendent. As a General Foreman and Superintendent at UMI I was tasked with manpower loaded, budget and hours tracking, field estimates, material ordering, coordination between fab shop and field, and field coordination between the GC and other subs. As a piping superintendent I was in charge of all of local 467, 159, 343, and 342 projects. I have and still maintain a relationship with all of the business agents in all of those great Locals.
