  • Developed and curated a library collection from a handful of titles in 2002 to 6500+ in 2022.
  • Created and maintained our library website with abundant digital resources, including access to databases, ebooks, primary source databases, citation assistance, etc.
  • Researched and significantly increased our diverse Fiction and Non-Fiction collections over the last 3 years.
  • Created a student organization (Student Library Advisory Board) in 2015 that has grown to a robust student-led club supporting and encouraging literacy in our entire JA community.
  • Planned and executed numerous community-wide outreach events such as: Read-ins, One School One Book campaigns, Speed-Date-A-Book, Library Lunch and Learn, Laidback Lunch in the Library, Lunchtime Karaoke in the Library, Community Service at SCOPE International (preparing donated books for shipment to Kenya), etc.
  • Managed volunteers (mostly parents and grand-parents) to assist with library tasks, shelving, book covering, cleaning, etc.

  • Created a warm, welcoming environment for students and staff to read, explore, relax and enjoy our shared library space.
  • Collaborated with JA Faculty on numerous co-curricular projects for students, utilizing library resources dovetailing with curricular units.
  • Developed and implemented a "Knit and Crochet Club" in the library after school for 5 years.
  • Officially represented our library at JA Board meetings and Broomfield events to advocate for support of our library.
  • Confidently maintained and balanced library's annual budget.
  • Advised struggling 7-12th grade students (during- and post-quarantine) and assisted them in gaining necessary skills to be successful in class.
  • Developed relationships with students and their parents in order to partner with them for student success.
