Cade McDowell

This was a summer internship where I traveled to many different sites and used tech like the total station and gps to create drawings in CAD and boundary work. I also took cross-sectional measurements for every bridge and culvert over 20 ft in length in Richland county for the biannual check for any erosion or deformation in the abutments and piers. Along with that, I was able to run slump, air, and cylinder tests for concrete jobs that were happening around Olney. I have also ran many proctor curves.

• Assembled birdhouses.
• Made sure that products were produced on time and are of good quality.
• Inspected finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
• Use of many power tools (saws, drills, air guns, etc.).

• Cleared areas of debris before and after events.
• Used trimmers and chainsaws for grounds maintenance, brush clearing, and tree removal and thinning.
