- Analyzed multiple steering mechanisms to determine efficiencies of each design
- Researched parts such as steering knuckles, wheels, caliper brakes, brake disks, and hardware
- Lead one team workday measuring, marking, and cutting out multiple frame members
- Prepared frame members for welding shop. Responsibilities included measuring and marking parts to be cut
- Assisted with cutting and finishing of materials
- Modeled steering mechanism parts required for one tenth scale model of an electric vehicle
- Assembled model electric vehicle from team’s parts
