Arrive an hour before guests come to wait for them. Once guests come get them safely onto the boat. Captain does safety talk before we go out. I handle the bow lines when leaving. When off the dock sails go up. Captain does the history talking while I steer the boat. When done for the night come back in, put extra bow lines out for overnight, roll up the sail, and check for trash.
Arrive at the ferry at 0845. Unlock all the lifejacket cabinets, put out ship store, untie all overnight lines, and open gates and wait for customers. When customers come aboard: collect cash from them, close gates, and then untie dock lines to head over to the other side. Ask any customers if they need help finding somewhere or if they have any questions. Log amount of persons on board for safety. When done for the day: lock up all lifejacket cabinets, put money that was collect away in safe, retie boat up for over night.
Arrive that the dock at 0900 clean the boat and get the boat ready for guests to come aboard. Out on the water the sails go up, and after that guests get served drinks or beverages. Closing for the night we break the boat down, put everything away for the next day.
