At Agxact Lawn & Pest, I had began as a sales representative and moved up to sales manager, and then sales director in training. This was a start up company that I entered in at ground level through with connections. As a sales representative, my duties were to make outbound calls to locals in the Dayton and surrounding areas, and offer them a cutting edge lawn care service that they couldn't refuse. I hired a room full of sales representatives who could emulate my sales techniques which allowed the company to grow from its very first customer, to about 2,000 customers in the first year of business. I was runner up to take over the sales director position for the following year. Unfortunately, the owner of the company had decided that slower growth and digital marketing for a new company such as Agxact would be a smarter decision for the future of the company, and decided to not use a sales team until further notice to avoid a pile up and potential crash due to adding on too many customers too quickly.
As a sales representative for Verizon, we had a store goal of about 170 to 180 contracts per month and I brought about 50% of the total revenue into the store. I always ensure to bring drive, motivation, goal setting, leadership and even a bit of friendly competition into everything I do.
