• Advanced Diagnostics: Use OEM scan tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot complex issues in engine, transmission, electrical, emissions, and ADAS systems.
• Major Repairs: Perform in-depth repairs such as engine and transmission R&R, timing system service, suspension overhauls, HVAC, and electrical system work.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct detailed inspections and maintenance services, ensuring vehicles meet manufacturer standards and safety regulations.
• Technical Leadership: Mentor junior techs, verify repair quality, and provide training on tools, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
• Customer & Shop Communication: Clearly explain technical issues and repairs to service advisors or customers, and maintain accurate documentation for all work performed.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all environmental, safety, and regulatory guidelines while promoting a clean, efficient, and organized work environment.

• Performs inspections, functional checks and preventive maintenance on aircraft to include periodic, phase, hourly, preflight, post flight, calendar, thru-flight, and special inspections. Troubleshoots and performs maintenance on assigned and transient aircraft. Removes and replaces aircraft components.
• May be required to perform user and organizational level maintenance on assigned supported equipment, including inspection, repair and modification, and corrosion prevention Provides data for aircraft maintenance historical records, complete maintenance data collection, man-hour accounting, and other forms as required. Instructs, directs and assigns maintenance repair tasks to drill status guard members.
• Complies with safety, fire, security and housekeeping regulations.
• Prepares for and participates in various types of readiness evaluations. Performs other duties as assigned.
• Operates $32.8M sortie spt section; ensures tool accountability/availability for 8 C-130H acft valued at approx $2.5B
• Documents and maintains records in Maintenance Information System and Tool Accountability System (TAS)
• Monitors/maintains/ensures unit compliance with hazardous material (HAZMAT)/hazardous waste directives
• Docs discreps, updates toolkits/eqpt on Master Inventory List (MIL)/Tool Ctrl Max (TCMax)confirms rcrds accuracy
• Ctrls inventory, haz material, shopstock, insps; creates/repairs CTKsensures 100% resource readiness/accountability

Experienced in performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on a wide range of vehicles. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting oil and filter changes
• Inspecting and maintaining fluid levels
• Rotating and repairing tires
• Replacing brake pads and wheel bearings
• Performing other minor mechanical repairs as needed

Skilled in diagnosing common issues and ensuring vehicles are serviced to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

• Started on the underground crew (6 months), responsible for pulling and laying fiber optic cable through underground conduit beneath grass, pavement, or cement.
• Repaired damaged or broken pipes to ensure uninterrupted fiber installation and project completion.
• Promoted to the aerial crew and worked for 2 years securing fiber lines to utility poles using bucket trucks.
• Transferred existing lines between poles and installed new aerial fiber, including large-scale projects for the Georgia Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Operated and transported equipment including trailers carrying fiber reels and arrow boards for traffic control during street-level work.
• Maintained strict safety standards while working at height and in active roadway environments.
