
I am a graduate of St. John's University School of Law (Admission Pending to the NYS Bar Association) who is pursuing a career in Arts Administration. I am skilled in strategic planning, grant writing, and budgeting, and have a longstanding background in the areas of performing arts, business, and law. I plan to merge my passion for all three by helping artists and arts organizations advocate for themselves and navigate any legal or business issues they come into contact with!
Legal advocate for clients who are applying for benefits under the federal Social Security Disability program. I conduct thorough reviews of client information to identify the most effective strategy successfully obtaining the maximum possible benefits, comprehensively research relevant legal issues to support case strategy, streamline and organize documents for case management, and am currently training under and assisting staff attorneys in preparing for hearings with Administrative Law Judges and cases in Federal Circuit Courts nation wide.
Assisted LSLI's Housing Unit for the Summer of 2024. Tasks included meeting with and assisting clients, attending court hearings to develope a deeper understanding of trial procedures, conducting legal research at the state and local level, and administrative organization.
Assisted in the Legal and Human Resources departments for the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters. Tasks included legal research on city, state, federal, and international corporate laws; proofing/editing contracts and policies; drafting new language for company guidance on Workers' Compensation to be circulated to employees; participating in the performance review process of staff members; and the budgeting, planning, and coordination of events and celebrations.
Tasks included supporting ticketing operations, assisting audience members in locating their seats, ensuring that the behavior of audience members to complied with the theater's policies, and informing patrons of and providing them with the available accomodations for disabilities.
Worked in both the Marketing and Development Departments in the Spring 2021 semester, earning credit for my certificate in Arts Management and Leadership from CUNY Hunter College. Tasks included preparing for and assisting during the annual fundraising gala; researching potential donors; sending inter-department communications on a daily basis; assisting in crafting public news letters, press releases and promotional materials for upcoming productions; managing social media accounts and enhancing audience engagement across platofrms; and regularly updating the Atlantic Acting Company website.
