Having worked in customer service for 18 years, I have proven my ability to answer questions and give information regarding business procedures and policies. Over the years, I have learned to handle tasks in a timely, organized manner. I have a history of being an effective team leader who keeps calm and does not crumble under pressure. My duties as CSDH include opening and closing the store, giving out breaks to the cashiers, helping customers and ensuring that they have a positive experience. During my shift I process sweeps from the registers, assist cashiers when they need assistance, do price checks and price adjustments if there is an incorrect or old sign up.
At the service desk I make it my duty to have each and every customer leaving the store knowing that they will return. I enjoy helping customers and correcting mistakes for them. I am happy to answer any questions that the customers might have and will resolve any issues best to my ability. I process returns/exchanges, write rainchecks, write up charge accounts, and sign up customers for Stop and Shop cards. I also process money orders and Western Union transactions and do lotto.
