Caitlin Rufo

This is an after-school program for students in the third through eighth grade. I primarily work with the students in the third through fifth grade. This program extends for a month in the summer.

In this program I:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to keep learner attention.
• Collaborate with adults and children to provide safe and educational experience.
• Assess student needs and interests and provide feedback to facilitate student success.

• Assisted lead teacher in small group and whole group lessons.
• Took over and taught classroom when teacher was absent.

• Working one on one with a student who needs assistance completing their work.
• Conduct literary and mathematical assessments to build lessons.
• Create and teach lessons for students in a special education setting.
• Teach interventions using Heggerty and UFLI curriculum.

• Oversaw students in classroom and common areas to monitor, enforce rules, and support lead teacher.
