- As a volunteer I worked with the Draper City Police and helped run the cadet program. I started as a Cadet in April of 2021 and was promoted to Lieutenant shortly after. I held that position until August 2022 when I left on a two year mission for the LDS Church.
- When I returned home in August of 2024, the Cadet program had been dissolved due to low interest. I worked with Detective Smith to recruit Cadets and bring back the program.
- I was Captain of the Cadet program from August 2024 until January 2025 when I started the UVU Police Academy.
- Due to my involvement in this program I am well acquainted with many officers in Draper mainly, Sergeant Price, Detective Smith, Detective Adrignola, Sergeant Coe, Lieutenant Evans, Officer Miller, Officer Shellenberg, Sergeant Simons.
- This Program has helped me grow many skills necessary to being a Police Officer including, communication, hard work, leadership and discipline.
