- Write work planning documents for proper radiological/chemistry controls during major reactor plant evolutions (I.E. plant shutdown, cooldown.
-Maintain continuous improvement program to ensure best practices are followed, eliminate repeat mistakes, and promote continuous improvement by all technicians.
-Perform audits and surveillances to ensure radiological/chemical programs pass readiness assessments and reactor safety evaluations.

-Safely operate a PWR nuclear plant under dynamic conditions, maintaining a strict level of conduct of operations.
-Perform initial and follow-up response to all emergencies.
-As work center supervisor, schedule, execute and document all routine/corrective maintenance and surveys performed.
-Ensure radiological/chemistry equipment is in proper working order and meets workplace needs. Troubleshoot, test, repair, and order new equipment as necessary.
-Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of radiological, hazardous, and mixed waste IAW RCRA & U.S Navy RCA.
-Perform sampling and radiological surveys as needed. Provide supervision to all radiological work as required.
