Summary

I am a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate and Licensed Chemical Dependence Counselor. I am also a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer in the US Army with 22 years experience. In addition to my day to day responsibilities has served as a Master Resiliency Trainer which uses the tenants of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. I have also been DSACC-P qualified and trained as a Sexual Harassment & Assault Prevention & Reporting victim advocate. I plan to use all this training with the skills developed in my collegiate program and my four deployments and various traumas and injuries to work with fellow veterans and first responders. I have a passion for helping others and believe my background will allow me to empathize with those struggling with their own mental health.
