Diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at the age of two years old. Went through treatment until I was five and have been cancer free since. Oncology doctor said that I would struggle academically and physically due to treatment, but have proven that wrong. I am currently a division one athlete while being in the nursing program at California Baptist University.
