Caleb Trantham

Product Engineer
Lexington,NC

Summary

Since November 2023, I have had the opportunity to serve in several different capacities and gain extensive knowledge of the battery. 3-months at Kobe lab allowed me to focus on Cell Evaluation, Analysis, Design, and Formation. Since coming back from training, I have spent the last 4 months supporting as a Process Engineer for Formation/CR and leading as a Product Engineer. My goal after the trip was to take the initiative and apply what I had learned. Having supported design during the investigation of Gas Bite, Li Deposition, and Cu Dendrites through trial support, data analytics (PowerBI), and cross-departmental collaboration, this goal has been accomplished. Through this activity I have continued to Sharpen the Saw and gained new knowledge. I have also worked with TRI to start various other projects: Titan, Battery Brain, Data Dictionary, dV Analysis, etc.
