Newborn care for preemie twins position started a few days after birth mom had surrogate and needed to return to work immediately. I did a mix of days and nights and collaborated with another two part time Nannies to provide 24/7 care.
Babies had reflux and sleeping issues worked closely with Nannie's and mom to resolve issues.
Worked closely with mom to get babies on a routine and meet milestones and resolve reflux and sleeping issues.
Organized nurseries donated items as as needed purchased baby items as needed restocked.
Kept inventory of age appropriate toys and developmental tools and books.
Helped babies met their developmental milestones as they were age adjusted 6 weeks.
Planned outings to all the Seattle sites weekly sometimes daily.
Worked 12 hour shifts so created a robust schedule with park outings, zoo and aquarium. All area children’s museums.
Planned outings in other locations as needed when traveling including Denver, Santa Monica, Minneapolis and New York. We would travel sometimes for a couple of weeks at a time.
Travel with mom when babies were 6 months old to other business locations all over the U.S.
All aspects of baby led weaning, milestones, nursery inventory and purchasing, donating items as needed.
Household management when mom was out of town and babies stayed home. Managed other part time Nannie’s schedule as needed.
Managed household vendors as needed servicing nanny care when babies were much older and in school.
Did school drop offs and pickups.
Vacation travel packing unpacking.
Children were bilingual when I ended my time with them as I am fluent in english and spanish.
Position ended as family divided their time between CA and WA and I wasn’t able to provide care in both states for 6 months at a time.
