After recently determining that I have never held a genuinely rewarding career and witnessing the love of teaching my mother once had, my aim is to follow in her footsteps and share my love of mathematics with Perry County students. I hope my leadership skills developed over years in manufacturing will help me maintain a classroom environment where consistency is the rule, procedures are followed, and skills mastery is the norm.
● Operate and troubleshoot multiple pcs of equipment throughout the dryer
● Identified and initiated multiple improvements to increase safety and productivity in my work area
● Participated as shop safety champion to improve safety culture in our mill’s workforce
● Performed daily personnel functions including managing time and evaluations for 60 plus employees
● Prioritized machinery across the shop to ensure critical customer needs were met
● Managed the day to day operations for the airfoil shop
● Developed manning plans to fill machinery during upcoming load fluctuations
● Performed existing machine relocations and new machine installations.
● Led shop safety and ergo teams to complete numerous projects as well as close all safety regulatory findings.
