* Lead daily rail fleet operations supporting the inspection, maintenance, and repair of over 20,000 hopper and tank cars, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant transportation across North American networks.
* Serve as a key liaison between rail carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders to resolve service disruptions, improve railcar cycle times, and maintain strong operational relationships.
* Monitor railcar movements, track exceptions, and proactively address delays or service issues to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing downtime, increasing operational efficiency, and optimizing logistics costs across rail operations.
* Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting tools and tracking processes (daily, weekly, monthly) to provide visibility into KPIs, service performance, and operational trends.
* Partner with cross-functional teams—including operations, supply chain, and commercial groups—to streamline workflows and ensure alignment with service level agreements (SLAs).

• Monitor and track railcar movements throughout North America using Class 1 railroad portals, RailTrac systems, and logistics tracking tools to proactively resolve service interruptions and customer delivery concerns.
• Coordinate daily with transport providers, supply chain teams, customer service groups, terminals, and commercial stakeholders to streamline rail operations and escalate carrier performance issues when necessary.
• Support rail freight operations by managing exception-based tracking and tracing activities to ensure customer expectations and delivery schedules are consistently achieved.
• Maintain strong working relationships with Class 1 railroads and short line carriers to improve communication, equipment availability, and operational efficiency.
