Calvin Freshour

My goal in life is to bring people together through the performing arts. I'd like to share the feeling of joy and freedom that comes with being on stage; interacting in endlessly unique worlds. Through my experiences, starting in elementary school, and progressing through middle school I found this artform was different than any other. I performed in every musical in middle school and auditioned for every opportunity in high school that I could. I've also done blackbox productions as part of my high school acting courses. I work to be better at every rehearsal and always take coaching so I can improve my skills as an actor. Practicing Taekwondo as a 2nd degree black belt certainly helps with my movement and body control, taking direction and having the confidence to be on stage. I continue to look for local audition opportunities and any other opportunities to continue theater or the performing arts however I can. My mind never ceases to be amazed the more I learn about theater and acting through my different classes here. Sharing it through performing on stage keeps me going strong.
