With over two decades of experience as an HR professional, including 19 years in leadership roles, Camelia currently serve as the Compensation and Benefits HR Director for North America at Atos SE, a global leader in digital transformation with approximately 95,000 employees across 69 countries and an annual revenue of roughly €11 billion.
A significant milestone in Camelia's career was the pivotal role in the substantial growth of Atos Romania. Over an eight-year period, Camelia led efforts to expand the workforce from 250 to over 3000 employees by developing a long-term strategy focused on recruitment and retention. This strategy emphasized compensation practices to communicate company objectives, set performance standards, and motivate and reward employees based on their achievements. This rapid expansion required meticulous planning, efficient process management, and a comprehensive understanding of organizational dynamics and IT employment market realities.
Responsible for compensation, benefits, wellness, payroll, recognition, and retention across all 4 countries within North America business unit (US, Canada, Mexico and Guatemala).
