Dynamic professional with a driven work ethic and extensive experience in construction and management. At RC Excavating, I excelled in building large-scale projects while operating heavy machinery. My attentive communication and collaborative spirit fostered team success, ensuring quality and efficiency in every endeavor. Passionate about continuous learning and improvement.
My role with RC Excavating was mainly as a mason for building large retaining walls, parking pads, new home site clearing/grading, and initial sewer/septic installs as well as drainage and erosion management. I was able to spend a lot of time operating heavy machinery (excavators, skid-loaders, bulldozers, etc.)
We also built a few homes from the initial clearing of the lot, until final inspection and every step of construction in between.
As a process lead it was my responsibility to coach new hires, provide daily oversight for employees, and problem solve to ensure quality production in our specific department to meet goals and metrics set by the Team Lead/Department Head.
I worked many roles in food service/hospitality at Beech Mountain Resort in my time there, but the majority was spent as the manager of the 5506 Skybar at the top of the ski resort. Maintaining inventory, serving guests, restocking, maintenance of facilities, and managing staff were my main duties.
EEPP built small and large scale solar power systems for commercial and residential applications. We built many large-scale commercial plants around NC, and traveled to Miami to do a lot of residential applications in my time there. I was one of the first employees for the company and helped with everything from planning, sourcing materials, construction, and follow-up maintenance.
