Summary
Although I don't have previous law enforcement background, I do believe I have the skills and attributes to succeed as an officer. In my career as a machinist I have developed my communication skills and leadership skills. Everyday I'm faced with resolving others issues and my approach is empathetic and ethical. Maintaining sound judgment while developing a solution to a complex critical issue is a key skill in both my career and personal life. Team work has been instilled in me at an early age, growing up playing in most of the Lake Stevens sports programs has showed me earlier on how important this is. I have continued to practice this skill in my adult years. It has helped me flourish my career and achieve goals that otherwise wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for the support and collaborative efforts of others.
